FR - Née française et élevée en Tchéquie, formée en histoire à Yale puis dans le conseil en stratégie et innovation, j'aborde l'architecture d'intérieur et le design comme une manière de lire une situation avant d'y intervenir. Pour chaque projet, je cherche moins à imposer une écriture qu'à construire une réponse juste, ancrée dans un contexte : un lieu, une marque, des usages et des personnes.

My design philosophy
My work rarely begins with a specific form in mind.
Every project starts with a period of immersion: observing how people interact with a place, understanding their needs, exploring the wider context. This research is not a preliminary step—it is core to the design process.
Born in Paris and raised in Prague, I grew up between different languages and cultures. My path—from studying history at Yale, to strategy consulting, and eventually design—has taught me to navigate complexity and work across different disciplines. It has made me recognize that meaningful design begins with a deep understanding of what already exists.
Language plays a central role in my approach. Words do more than describe the world—they shape it, revealing nuances and realities that may not exist in another language. When exploring users' needs, I often find that the greatest challenge is finding the right words to articulate them.
Once those needs are clearly expressed, my project can begin to take shape. I see design as an act of translation, transforming ideas, stories, and needs into spaces, objects, and experiences.
My practice of dance and karate (black belt) also informs my understanding of the relationship between body and space. It has made me pay closer to attention to rhythm, movement, and the ways we interact with our surroundings.
