FR - Née française et élevée en Tchéquie, formée en histoire à Yale puis dans le conseil en stratégie et innovation, j'aborde l'architecture d'intérieur et le design comme une manière de lire une situation avant d'y intervenir. Pour chaque projet, je cherche moins à imposer une écriture qu'à construire une réponse juste, ancrée dans un contexte : un lieu, une marque, des usages et des personnes.

Suber 13.75 - Process


Interior architecture
Ecole Camondo
Year 2
Goal: Design a temporary home for victims of domestic violence and a <2 year-old child. The shelter has to fit a volume that is 5.5m long and 2.5m wide (= 13.75m²), with <3m ceiling height.

Steps of the project:

  1. Research into the experiences of survivors of domestic violence—their circumstances, needs, and daily realities
  2. Consideration of the needs of a child up to two years old (changing table, crib, etc.).
  3. Translation of these findings into the required amenities and an optimal spatial layout
  4. Key design principles: addressing the need for comfort and autonomy through the use of cork (a warm, impact-absorbing, insulating material that residents can easily make their own); balancing the need for privacy with opportunities for social connection (through the possibility of opening one corner of the shelter onto a shared terrace with neighboring residents); creating a space for play and joy, not only for recovery.
  5. Preliminary plans and physical models
  6. Work on natural lighting, convertible furniture and bespoke details (handles, hardware)
